About Dr. Rachel Feuer
As a psychologist, I find meaning in walking with clients on their journey and teaching them new skills to live with difficult life experiences. I use contemporary evidence-based therapies to support growth and change. I am a lifelong learner, and my approach continues to evolve over time as I read books, attend trainings, and learn from the clients I have the privilege of working with.
Prior to working at Southern Ontario CBT, I was a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at Duke University Medical School, and I opened my own practice in the United States. In addition to working with clients directly, I provided clinical supervision for interns, postdoctoral fellows, and residents.
I am currently registered for interim autonomous practice in Ontario (#4066205) and licensed in North Carolina (#4776)

My areas of expertise include trauma recovery, perinatal mental health, treating mood and anxiety disorders, working with medical professionals and academics, treating people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and working with parents who are struggling with attachment or parenting kids with challenges and special needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking long walks in the woods, playing and watching soccer, and traveling.
